February 2012
- I am a frequent participant in the seemingly never-ending debate over the importance of stability versus the tendency towards change.
- I do not usually understand myself.
- I have an insane imagination — and by insane I mean I always catch it in the act of running away from me!
- I like to write, read and draw things.
- I am going to shift courses (in college) soon.
- I love my family a whole lot.
- I am a health nut.
- I do not eat rice (many people don’t either, but in my corner of the world, everyone does and it is considered close to abnormal to have zero consumption of this necessary commodity in one’s stats)
- I am working on improving and ultimately perfecting my diet. (I’ve done me wrong once or twice; I want to make sure it doesn’t happen to me again. Health is precious!)
- I want to become successful someday and buy my parents a HUGE house with a bedroom full of aquariums for my dad and a minimalist patio for my mom (who’s always stressed at work) to relax in.

I’m not complaining. :) Tumblr’s got great designers; I’m confident that they’re aware of what looks good.

I’m sick of college politics as well. Used to be amongst them, but now (I think) I’ve given it up for good unless I find reason to make another attempt.
I agree with you every single bit when it comes to the taglines. Who came up with such an idea in the first place? By now we should all know it’s just propaganda, we’ve had that from grade school elections to high school politics and now people go all out doing their best to solicit votes. It’s all just a popularity contest, after all.
The sad truth is that if you ran for a position and didn’t campaign at all, would anyone vote from you (aside from your friends)? They wouldn’t even know who you are and that you existed.
That’s why people would much rather stoop down to that low a level just to make themselves known, never mind that they do so by means of corny taglines and propaganda jokes.
